Recap

The railroad made traveling faster and easier. It also lowered the cost of transportation. Downside was that it was being built on Native American land and they were getting upset. The railroad allowed many people to get jobs. Sadly due to the crazy amount of workers, the pay was little to nothing.

The cons

Every good thing has it's down falls. While the job market opened up immensely, the pay was horrible. Since there were so many people that worked for the railroads, there wasn't enough money to pay them all what they deserved. Also with the expansion of railroads, they were being built on the Native American's land. The Natives were mad because the railroads were taking up most of their land.

The pros

The railroads brought a lot of good things. One good thing that came from the railroads was a lot of people getting jobs. Mining had a lot of job openings because the request for iron went up since that was what they used to make the railroads. Another good thing that came out of railroads were the lower prices of transportation. Since everything was faster and easier, the cost didn't need to be outrageous.

Purpose

The reason why the railroads were made was a more efficient way of transportation. It was also faster. The railroad was made in 1925.
